Create a festive set of 25 handmade Advent Calendar Tags perfect for counting down the days to Christmas! Students will assemble and decorate vintage-inspired holiday tags while learning beginner-friendly paper-crafting techniques.

Along the way, you’ll be introduced to inking paper edges to add dimension and learn how to set eyelets for a decorative finishing touch. No previous crafting experience is needed, making this a fun introduction to paper crafting.

When finished, your tags can be hung from ribbon or twine, added to small gifts or treats, or displayed as part of your Christmas décor. You’ll leave with a complete set of 25 Advent tags ready to become part of your holiday traditions.

What you’ll make: A colorful, ring-bound Halloween memory keeper with junk-journal-inspired elements and space for photos, journaling, and keepsakes. You’ll leave with your finished piece.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to assemble and decorate layered paper tags

  • How to use ink to add dimension and definition to paper edges

  • How to work with and set eyelets

  • Basic paper-crafting and embellishment techniques

  • Ideas for displaying and using Advent tags

Skill level: Beginner — no previous experience required.

Age restriction: Adults and children ages 5+. Children must participate with an adult who can assist them throughout the class (child/ parent group to create 1 memory keeper unless multiple seats are selected at checkout).

Who’s this class for: Beginners, families, teens, adults, and anyone who loves Christmas crafting.

Food & drink policy: Non-alcoholic drinks are welcome as long as they are in a container with a lid. No food.

What to bring/ wear: All necessary crafting materials will be provided. Please wear clothing that you don’t mind possibly getting ink on.
