Fall Intro to Stained Glass | Sun, 12-4 PM

$75.00

October 25 and November 8, 2026 | 12:00-4:00 PM (4 hours)
Instructor: Stina Stow

Spend an afternoon creating a glowing piece of fall art that catches the light! In Fall Stained Glass, you'll design and build your own handmade stained glass piece, choosing from four seasonal designs: a mysterious raven, a wise owl, a classic autumn leaf or a cheerful pumpkin.

Many stained glass classes hand you pre-cut pieces and simply have you put them together. Not here! In this class, you'll learn the full process from start to finish, the same way stained glass artists have worked for centuries. You'll score and cut your own glass, grind and shape each piece to fit your pattern, wrap the edges in copper foil and solder everything together into a finished piece.

It's a true hands-on experience, and our Instructor will guide you through every step. Even if you've never held a glass cutter before, you'll walk away with real skills you can keep building on.

The best part is choosing your colors. You'll work with high-quality art glass from a respected art glass manufacturer, sourced locally right here in DFW. Rich ambers, deep oranges, warm golds and moody blacks will let you make your design your own, so no two pieces will ever look alike. Hang it in a window and watch it glow with the autumn sun.

Whether you're keeping it for your own fall décor or giving it as a one-of-a-kind gift, you'll love seeing the light shine through something you cut, shaped and built with your own hands.

By the end of the day, you'll leave with a finished stained glass suncatcher and the confidence to keep exploring this beautiful craft.
