Spend an afternoon creating a handmade holiday keepsake that sparkles in the light! In Intro to Stained Glass Ornament, you'll design and build your own stained glass Christmas ornament, ready to hang on your tree or give to someone special.

Many stained glass classes hand you pre-cut pieces and simply have you put them together. Not here! Even in this shorter class, you'll learn the full process from start to finish. You'll score and cut your own glass, grind and shape each piece to fit your pattern, wrap the edges in copper foil and solder it all together into a finished ornament.

The best part is choosing your colors. You'll work with high-quality art glass from a respected art glass manufacturer, sourced locally right here in DFW. Choose from rich ruby reds, deep evergreen, shimmering pink and sparkling clear or iridescent glass to make your ornament your own, so no two will ever look alike.

Ornaments make wonderful gifts and they're a meaningful way to mark the season. Every year when you unpack your decorations, you'll find something you made with your own hands.

By the end of class, you'll leave with a finished stained glass ornament and the basic skills to keep exploring this beautiful craft.
