Spend an afternoon making art with no pressure and no rules! Introduction to Gel Printing is the ultimate stress-free workshop. You don’t need any drawing skills or experience, just a willingness to play and experiment.
Gel printing is a fun, colorful printmaking technique that uses a soft, flexible gel plate to transfer paint onto paper. Every pull reveals something new, so no two prints ever turn out the same. That’s what makes it so exciting!
In this vibrant, hands-on class, you’ll learn step by step how to use a colorful mix of paints, unique tools and different papers. You’ll discover how to layer colors, create textures with stencils and found objects, and pull stunning, one-of-a-kind prints.
With a small class of just 6 students, you’ll get plenty of personal guidance and room to explore.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a beautiful collection of custom papers ready to use for card making, collage, decoupage or mixed-media art. Come make a mess, have fun and discover the joy of making art!
