Thursday, November 12, 2026 | 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM (1.5 hours)
Instructor: Melissa Devenport & Cindy Shepard
Spend a cozy morning discovering the magic of old-fashioned paper crafting! Deck the Pages is a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop for anyone who loves the look of faded handwriting, delicate lace and nostalgic holiday imagery.
Together, we’ll turn beautiful vintage Christmas cards, aged letters and classic scrapbook paper into your own charming art journal. You’ll learn how to layer papers, textures and keepsake details to create pages that feel timeless, like a treasure tucked away in Grandma’s attic.
There’s no right or wrong way to journal. You’ll choose the pieces that speak to you and arrange them your way, so every journal is a one-of-a-kind reflection of its maker. Along the way, you’ll pick up simple techniques for adding pockets, tags and little surprises to your pages.
Your finished journal makes a lovely place to collect holiday memories, write down favorite recipes or keep notes and keepsakes throughout the season. It’s also a thoughtful handmade gift for someone who loves all things vintage.
By the end of the evening, you’ll leave with a beautiful vintage-inspired art journal and plenty of ideas to keep adding to it at home.
