Spend a Saturday afternoon painting the sweetest little ghost in town! Bring your favorite drink and snacks, settle in, and let the creativity flow! In Darla Boo, you'll paint an adorable ghost with rosy cheeks, a bright orange bow and a cozy striped scarf, peeking over a glowing jack-o'-lantern under a full moon.
You'll be guided step by step, from blocking in the swirling green background to adding the fun details that give Darla her personality. It's spooky season at its cutest, and perfect for anyone who loves Halloween without the scare.
By the end of the afternoon, you'll leave with a finished, one-of-a-kind painting ready to display all October long.
Book early! Registration closes 2 days in advance to give our Instructor time to prepare your canvas and supplies.
What you'll make: One finished acrylic painting on canvas to take home featuring (1) a cheerful ghost with a bow and scarf, (2) a glowing jack-o'-lantern, (3) and a swirling moonlit background.
What you'll learn:
Basic acrylic painting techniques
Creating movement with expressive brushstrokes
Painting simple, charming characters
Adding highlights and details that bring your painting to life
Skill level: Beginner. No previous experience required.
Age restriction: 16+ years.
Who's this class for: Beginners, couples, friends, and anyone who loves Halloween.
Food & drink policy: BYOB! Guests 21+ are welcome to bring wine, beer or their favorite drink, as well as snacks or food to enjoy while you paint. Alcohol is for guests 21+ only. Please drink responsibly. Cups, plates, and serving utensils are not provided.
What to bring/ wear: All canvas, paints, brushes and aprons are provided. Just bring your favorite drinks and snacks, come dressed comfortably, and get ready to create!
Class size: This class needs at least 4 students to run and is limited to 24 students max. If minimum enrollment isn't met, we'll let you know and give you a full refund.
