Celebrate the season of thanks with an evening of painting! Grab your favorite bottle of wine and a few friends. It's the perfect night out! In Grateful Pumpkin, you'll paint a soft, rustic pumpkin with curling green vines and the word "grateful" in beautiful hand-lettered script, set against a weathered, farmhouse-style background.
You'll learn how to create a distressed, rustic look, shape your pumpkin and add simple brush lettering, even if you've never lettered before.
You'll leave with a warm, one-of-a-kind piece that's perfect for your Thanksgiving table or as a thoughtful hostess gift.
Book early! Registration closes 2 days in advance to give our Instructor time to prepare your canvas and supplies.
What you'll make: One finished acrylic painting on canvas to take home featuring (1) a rustic pumpkin with curling vines, (2) "grateful" hand-lettered script, (3) and a weathered farmhouse-style background.
What you'll learn:
Creating a rustic, distressed background
Shaping and shading a pumpkin
Painting curling vines and grass
Simple brush lettering techniques
Skill level: Beginner. No previous experience required.
Age restriction: 16+ years.
Who's this class for: Beginners, date nights, girls' night out, friends, and anyone looking for a cozy evening out.
Food & drink policy: BYOB! Guests 21+ are welcome to bring wine, beer or their favorite drink, as well as snacks or food to enjoy while you paint. Alcohol is for guests 21+ only. Please drink responsibly. Cups, plates, and serving utensils are not provided.
What to bring/ wear: All canvas, paints, brushes and aprons are provided. Just bring your favorite drinks and snacks, come dressed comfortably, and get ready to create!
Class size: This class needs at least 4 students to run and is limited to 24 students max. If minimum enrollment isn't met, we'll let you know and give you a full refund.
